Goat Milk Lavender Strawberry Ice Cream Jun 26 Written By Jaclyn Graham Ingredients 1 egg1/2 cup honey1/8 teaspoon Celtic sea salt2 cups chopped strawberries1 cup half-and-half cream (goat milk or cow’s depending on your needs and preferences)4 cups whole fat goat’s milk1 lavender sprigInstructions Heat the sauce pan over medium heat. Add the honey, salt, half-and-half, milk and lavender mixture in the pan.Whisk the egg briskly, then add it to the above mixture.Heat slowly, stirring with a wooden spoon, just to a simmer (don’t allow to come to a full boil), then take off heat and cover with a lid for 10 minutes.Remove the lavender sprig.Cool milk mixture in fridge or freezer until cold.Pour into ice cream machine and freeze according to machine’s directions.
